Keeping busy this summer...
What a
summer this is going to be! Boss Tweed has decided to stay on this side
of the Atlantic to play o' so many shows with o' so many projects!
First and foremost, Carolyn, Gerard and Eric just finished recording
the first three songs of Carolyn's new solo project, which are
available for listen and download via her website.
In addition to playing with this project, Carolyn and Gerard have also
been traveling around as a duo, playing original jazz and blues tunes
and classic covers. There's also Carolyn's Patsy Cline show, Carolyn Sills & The Poor Man's Roses, and Gerard is now playing bass with the fantastic Brazilian guitarist Joao Erbetta...
and if this wasn't enough, you won't be able to resist the already
infamous insane-o bearded spaghetti western surf rock trio, Los Beardos Raviolis...

New Year, New Projects
2009 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the members of Boss
Tweed. Everyone is currently in the studio working on Carolyn's solo
project, and we hope to post new tunes from that soon. Carolyn and
Gerard are now playing duo shows in the New York area and beyond,
featuring new original music plus classic jazz and americana covers,
with Carolyn on vocals and Gerard on the Gretsch guitar. You can read
all about that project, and Carolyn's solo stuff, at Carolyn's website. New Boss Tweed tunes are in the works as well, so keep checking back for more updates and tour dates.

Boss Tweed to head west... and then north and back east again...
We had a fantastic tour of Europe in July and early August... played a ton of outdoor festivals and clubs, venues made out of castle walls for crowds of rowdy bikers and excitable children... we highly recommend checking out that part of the world - Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia... beautiful countries with great history and kind people... plus they love to rock. We will post some photos soon, and in the meantime we are putting the finishing touches on our September tour of our neighbors to the North! Boss Tweed will be touring Canada for most of September, plus a few dates in the Pacific Northwest... we're slowly posting the schedule on our shows page, so keep checking back for more dates.

We're kicking things off in the fabulous country of Slovenia with the Lent festival on July 7th, a huge outdoor fest on the river bank in Maribor. Visit our shows page for all the dates.
